Continuing Education ProgramsWest AHEC offers a variety of Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Education programs for practicing healthcare professionals in our 14 county western Kentucky region. Programs presented throughout the year include required programs as well as other topics of interest to professional in various fields of medicine. Programs are developed targeting physician' and pharmacists' needs identified through an annual needs assessment. Additionally, West AHEC offers various multi-disciplinary programs throughout the year. Utilizing the Kentucky TeleHealth Network System enables West AHEC additional venues to offer programs and provide venues for area healthcare professionals to present programs throughout the state.
