Restless Leg SyndromeRestless leg syndrome is a disorder in which a person can experience unpleasant sensations in their calves, thighs, ankles and even arms. These symptoms have been described as cramping, crawling, tingling, itching, throbbing, pulling and the "gotta move". The 1996 Kentucky Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey reported that 10% of people surveyed reported experiencing restless leg symptoms at least 5 or more nights a month. Symptoms are most common at rest, usually in the evening and can affect your ability to get comfortable enough to fall asleep.
